By creating a LANGUU account, running a translation, or otherwise using the service, you accept these Terms of Service. If you are using LANGUU on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have the authority to bind that organization, and "you" then means both you and it.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the service. Some features — including team workspaces, compliance reporting, and the API — carry additional terms that apply on top of these.

LANGUU is a language platform. Depending on your plan, you can:

• Translate text, documents, images, audio, and video across 100+ languages.
• Transcribe spoken audio and video into searchable, editable text.
• Use AI interpretation for live, conversational exchange between languages.
• Generate natural speech from text (text-to-speech).
• Produce captions and subtitles, and export them as SRT, DOCX, and other formats.
• Request optional human-in-the-loop review by native speakers on supported plans.

We improve and adjust these features over time. We may add, change, or retire parts of the service, and we will give reasonable notice before removing functionality that paid customers actively rely on.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to hold an account. Accounts are for the named user or organization and may not be resold or shared in ways that circumvent plan limits.

LANGUU offers a free tier alongside paid plans (Solo and above), each with its own usage allowances, feature set, and tone controls. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period using your saved payment method, unless you cancel before renewal.

• Charges are billed in advance for the period you select and are stated exclusive of taxes, which we add where required.
• Upgrades take effect immediately; we prorate the difference. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal.
• Cancellation stops future renewals. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.

LANGUU is a tool for legitimate communication. You agree not to use it to:

• Process content you have no right to use, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Create or spread material that is unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or designed to harm.
• Reverse-engineer the service, scrape it, or exceed your plan's limits through automated means.
• Resell raw output as a competing translation, transcription, or captioning service without a written agreement.

We may apply reasonable rate limits and abuse protections to keep the service fast and fair for everyone.

You keep ownership of everything you upload — your source files — and of the translations, transcripts, voiceovers, and captions you generate. We claim no ownership over them.

You are responsible for having the rights and consents needed for any content you process, including any personal or sensitive information it contains.

LANGUU's machine output is highly accurate, but it is not infallible. Automated translation, transcription, interpretation, and captioning can contain errors, miss nuance, or misread context — especially with idioms, specialized terminology, low-resource languages, or poor-quality audio.

Protecting your content is central to how LANGUU is built. Content is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is tightly controlled, and we run the service under recognized security and compliance frameworks.

• We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use your private content to train models without your explicit opt-in.
• We maintain controls aligned with SOC 2, and offer HIPAA- and CJIS-aligned handling for eligible plans and workloads.
• Our Privacy Policy explains in detail what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.

You can delete jobs and request deletion of associated data, subject to limited retention we are legally required to keep.

The LANGUU platform, including its software, models, interfaces, name, and branding, belongs to LANGUU and its licensors. These terms give you the right to use the service — they do not transfer any ownership in it. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the platform itself.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve the service without obligation to you.

LANGUU may connect to third-party tools — for payments, storage, integrations, or exports. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. Where a third party processes content on our behalf, we hold them to confidentiality and security commitments consistent with these terms.

You may stop using LANGUU and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, fail to pay, or use the service in a way that threatens its security or other users — with notice where practical, and immediately where the risk is serious.

On termination, your right to use the service ends. We will make your content available for export for a reasonable window before deletion, except where law requires otherwise.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, LANGUU disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that output will be error-free, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that it will meet every requirement of your specific use case.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LANGUU is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is capped at the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold LANGUU harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms — including claims that the content you processed infringed someone's rights or violated the law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before formal proceedings, we both agree to try in good faith to resolve any dispute informally by contacting each other first. Where disputes cannot be resolved, they will be handled in the courts or arbitration forum specified for your region.

We may update these terms as the service evolves or the law requires. When changes are material, we will notify you — by email or an in-product notice — before they take effect. The version and effective date at the top of this page always reflect the current terms. Continuing to use LANGUU after a change means you accept the updated terms.
