Terms of Service

By creating an account or using LANGUU ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

LANGUU provides AI-assisted translation, transcription, captioning, text-to-speech, and AI interpretation tools. Features may change at any time. We will notify users of material changes where reasonable.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• One person or organisation may not maintain more than one free account.

Users choose one of two roles after sign-in:

• Client — submits translation, transcription, and captioning jobs and may request human review.
• Linguist — reviews and approves human-review (HITL) jobs submitted by Clients.

You may change your role at any time from your account settings.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the platform infrastructure.
• Impersonate another person or organisation.
• Use automated scripts to submit jobs beyond reasonable personal or business use.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You retain ownership of all text, documents, audio, and video you upload. By submitting content you grant LANGUU a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely for the purpose of delivering the requested service. We do not use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

The LANGUU platform, brand, and all software are owned by LANGUU and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without written permission.

Free tier usage is subject to the limits described on the Pricing page. Paid plans are billed in advance. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis — contact [email protected].

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that AI-generated translations, transcriptions, or captions are accurate or complete. Always review output before relying on it for critical decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LANGUU shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately and your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
